Genevieve LeBaron presents at the inaugural OECD Inclusive Platform on Due Diligence Policy Cooperation

 

Re:Structure Lab Co-Principal Investigator Genevieve LeBaron was invited to present at the OECD Inclusive Platform on Due Diligence Policy Cooperation, which brought together policy makers from around the world to discuss effective design, implementation and uptake of responsible business conduct due diligence policy and accompanying measures. Government officials from 60 countries attended the Platform to work together on strengthening supply chain governance.

LeBaron presented during the Platform’s session on sustainability initiatives in due diligence regulation and policy, advising on the necessary components of due diligence regulation to ensure effective action by companies.

The presentation drew on Re:Structure Lab’s longstanding work on effective due diligence regulation, and the role of auditing and certification within this.
