New policy briefs: Worker-driven Social Responsibility and The Dindigul Agreement

Re:Structure Lab Co-Principal Investigator Genevieve LeBaron and McMaster University Labour Studies Professor Judy Fudge have published two policy briefs based on their new article in the International Labour Organization’s journal, International Labour Review.

The Policy Briefs, titled “Do Import Bans Against Products Made with Forced Labour Help the Workers Who Made the Banned Products?” and “The Importance of the Dindigul Agreement and Worker-Driven Social Responsibility (WSR) for Governing Labour Standards in Supply Chains” tackle import bans and worker-driven social responsibility agreements. Both Policy Briefs provide considerations for current and new policy for United States and Canadian policymakers as import bans on products made with forces labour pick up steam.

Both Policy Briefs are available on the Re:Structure Lab website.
